Beautification Commission

The Pleasant Grove Beautification Advisory Commission wants to help make Pleasant Grove an even more beautiful place to live. We would like your help.

The City General plan states that the Beautification commission "has a primary role in assisting in improving the overall visual quality of the city." "The commission is intended to act in an advisory capacity to the city council and is to advise the council on methods and means of enhancing the visual quality of the city." In an effort to do these things we are asking all interested citizens of Pleasant Grove for their input and help. There are eleven neighborhood areas in the city and there is a Beautification Commission member from each one. You can contact your neighborhood commission member or any member if you do not know which neighborhood your in.

Recently the Mayor and the City Council asked the City Beautification Advisory Commission to compile a list of trees that would be a good choice for planting in Pleasant Grove. That list was completed and delivered to city staff members for their approval and revisions, then forwarded to the city council. We hope that list is available to the people of Pleasant Grove in the near future. It may be included in a newsletter sent out by the city and will be available at city offices.
