Scott Darrington

Scott DarringtonJ. Scott Darrington, ICMA-CM, is Pleasant Grove's Administrator.  In that job he has oversight responsibility for the City's nine departments.  Prior to coming to Pleasant Grove Scott held similar positions in South Ogden, Utah and before that in Afton, Wyoming.  He received a bachelor's degree in Recreation Management and master's degrees in Public Administration from Brigham Young University.  He serves on numerous boards of directors and committees of professional organizations in his field.

Deon GilesDeon Giles

Deon Giles has worked with the city since 1980, starting in the Parks and Recreation Department. Hired full time in 1987 working in the Parks Department, he has worked as a foreman, superintendent and currently as the Leisure Services Director.

Marc SandersonMarc Sanderson

Fire Chief Marc Sanderson directs the operations of Pleasant Grove City’s full time professional Fire Department. Marc has extensive experience in the emergency services arena. He is recognized as a leader among leaders having served in various leadership positions within Utah’s fire community, including President of the Utah County Fire Chiefs Association.

Ken YoungKen Young

Ken Young is the Pleasant Grove City Community Development Director.  His background includes 20 years in city planning and administration, with an emphasis in long-range planning. Ken’s work with several cities throughout the state has garnered recognition from Envision Utah.

Lynn WalkerLynn Walker

J. Lynn Walker, Director of Public Works for Pleasant Grove City Since 2002, Lynn oversees the streets, water, secondary water, sewer and storm drain departments for the city.  He has 46 years experience in related fields as supervisor and trainer.  Lynn serves and has served on numerous boards of directors and committees for professional organizations in his field.

Richard BradfordRichard Bradford

Richard Bradford is serving as Pleasant Grove's Director of Economic Development.  He has worked in similar positions for economic development offices in eight cities in three states and for Utah County over the past decades.  Currently he is the President of the Utah Alliance for Economic Development.  He has a bachelor’s degree in business from the University of Colorado.

Tina PetersonTina Peterson

Christine Petersen, Tina, is currently serving as the City Attorney. She has held this position since 1998.  She graduated from the J. Reuben Clark Law School at Brigham Young University with her Juris Doctorate and Arizona State University with a BA in History/Political Science. She has served as the President of the Utah Municipal Attorney’s Association as well as President of the Utah Municipal Prosecutor’s Association. She is also a member of the United States Supreme Court Bar.

Tom PaulTom Paul

Thomas Paul is the Pleasant Grove Chief of Police and has served in this position for the past 11 years. He has worked as a police officer in Pleasant Grove for 35 years and has served on many state and local boards including a term as the President of the Utah Chiefs of Police Association.
